Make up favourites

Hello everyone!

So I’ve been away from my blog for a long time as you may have been able to tell, this is because I have had sooooooo much GCSE work to do it has to come first rather than a blog post, unfortunately! But I’m back for this week so I hope you enjoy this post and I’ll stop rambling on and get on with the blog post!

So in the past few weeks there have been certain make-up items that I seem to have been using more often than usual so I decided that it would be a fabby idea to do a blog post on them, if you are an amazing person (which I’m sure you all are anyway) you’ll will already know what make-up items that I am including in this post because you will be following me on Instagram, where I posted a sneaky peak of this post on there quite a while ago! :)

One of my most prized make up items ever ever ever is my Naked 3 Pallet by Urban Decay Cosmetics, now I am a lover of neutral eyeshadow shades as I think they are very complimentary on many skin tones, and if you’re starting out with makeup, I think neutral eyeshadows are just the best, now by all means I’m not saying if your starting out with makeup buy a Naked Pallet because I’m not, they are way to much of a splurge for a first timer, I would recommend getting a dupe by MUA but lets save this advice for a makeup starter kit blog post! But I love this pallet lots as it has a gorgeous range of neutral eyeshadows which I adore and I have been using this pallet more and more recently realising that it was now a firm favourite for a while so I thought to include it in this!
The pallet has beautiful 12 eyeshadows and a double ended brush included all for £38, now this is expensive but worth the cost, honestly I just love it! There are 3 Naked pallets, Naked 1, Naked 2 and Naked 3 which all have 12 eyeshadows and the double ended brush and cost £38 too, but well worth the splurge!

So the next one of my fave makeup items is Dandelion blush by Benefit Cosmetics, this is my absolute favourite blushers ever, it is a beautiful muted pink colour which just looks great on all skin tones and it is just OOOOHHHHMAAAAAHHHHGAAAAAWWWWDDD just because it is so pretty! It’s perfect for spring, summer, autumn and winter which is great, perfect for all yeah round!  This is £23.50, so quite expensive for a blusher but you get your moneys worth as it lasts such a long time! I just love this so much and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new blusher as it is so so lovely!

So one of my all time favourite lip balms is the Burts Bees Beeswax lip balm which is so so so moisturising on your lips, this is so inexpensive , especially for how good it is and how long it lasts for! This is £3.69 so a great price for such an amazing lip balm!

What I have really been loving recently is my Estee Lauder Automatic pencil for Lips in the shade 05, now I did check on the website to find the price of these but I don’t think they stock them anymore which is a massive shame for when I run out of this one but if they do still stock them and I just couldn’t find them on the website I’m guessing they will be about £20 but I don’t know!  I absolutely this shade and it goes perfectly with my Mac Lipstick in the colour ‘Mehr’ which is such a lovely muted pinky purple, I have never heard anyone talk about this Mac lipstick which I am surprised about as it is a gorgeous colour but I don’t think anyone has really noticed it and talked about it before!  But anyway the lip pencil goes perfectly with this and I wanted to find a lip pencil that worked with it as it’s a bit of a different colour I couldn’t quite find the one I really wanted but I realised that this would go perfectly so I am very pleased with that!

A mascara that I have been very pleased with recently is Benefit Cosmetics BadGal mini, this is so great for everyday wear as it lengthens you lashes very nicely and just looks lovely and natural! This is clearly not sold as a mini on the website anymore but the full size version of this mascara is £17.50, I would definitely go out and buy the full size version of this any day!

So this is probably my favourite lipstick ever ever ever, and of course it has to be the Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in the shade 107! I adore this shade of red and I think it’s very similar to Mac Russian Red but probably slightly darker. It is just a lovely lovely shade and I wear it so so much and it’s perfect for all year round! If you're looking for a deep red colour that is inexpensive and just beautiful this is the colour for you!

Thank you so much for reading this blog post and I hope you enjoyed it! These are just some of my favourite makeup items at the moment and I thought it would be lovely to share them with you!
